The Identity That Makes You a Child of God: The Seventh Beatitude

In this episode of the Beatitudes Series, Inés Franklin teaches on what Jesus meant when he said, “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called sons of God.”

Biblical peacemaking goes beyond keeping the peace or avoiding conflict. It reflects God’s heart for reconciliation and restoration. Throughout Scripture, God reveals himself as the ultimate peacemaker—reconciling humanity to himself through Christ.

As followers of Jesus, we are invited to participate in this work of reconciliation. Peacemakers pursue truth, extend grace, and work toward healing in relationships that are broken by sin, conflict, and division.

When we embody this kind of peace, we reflect the character of God and become visible witnesses of his Kingdom in the world.
